After an inauspicious start – reflected in the joint lowest points return of any Everton manager from their first six league games since 1956 – Marco Silva needs a result that supports talk of positive performances against the Premier League newcomers. Everton have lost their past two matches and their weaknesses in defence and attack were exposed again at Arsenal last weekend.
