Ipswich appoint former Norwich manager Paul Lambert

• Lambert takes over with Ipswich bottom of the Championship
• The Scot led Norwich to Premier League promotion in 2011

Paul Lambert has been appointed as the new manager of Ipswich Town, six years after he left East Anglia rivals Norwich.

Lambert succeeds Paul Hurst, who was sacked on Thursday with Ipswich bottom of the Championship table, and has signed a contract until the summer of 2021.
