Much has been made of Wolves’ selection of the same starting XI for nine games but after last week’s 2-0 defeat at home by Wolves, Nuno Espírito Santo is expected to utilise one or two of his options. “No excuses, we didn’t play good, it is finished,” he said. “I am expecting a good reaction … many of our matches have been decided by substitutes – bringing lots of energy.” Brighton may omit their top scorer, Glenn Murray, as a precaution after he was taken from the pitch in the win at Newcastle concussed and wearing an oxygen mask.
